Applies to vehicles: with panorama sun roof
If a trapped object is detected in the mechanism when the panorama sun roof is closing, a safety cut-out will be triggered and the roof will open again automatically. If this happens, you can use the safety cut-out override to close the roof.
Safety cut-out override
After the sun roof opens automatically, pull and hold the switch within 5 seconds until the sun roof is closed. The driver's and passenger's doors must be closed in order to do this.
If it is not possible to override the safety cut-out, you will have to close the sun roof manually.
Closing manually
You will find the screwdriver and the interchangeable Torx socket in the vehicle's tool kit Link and the manual crank in the fuse box cover Fig. 3.
Open the storage compartment. The screw Fig. 1 will then be visible.
Remove the screw Fig. 1 -arrow- from the light unit and carefully pull out the light unit.
Insert the crank all the way into the hexagonal socket Fig. 2 and turn. The sun roof will now close.

To make it easier to turn the crank, you can make use of the screwdriver handle (tool kit).
