This driver message appears when the brakes are dabbed due to an acute warning.

This driver message appears when the system is switched off via the sound system or the MMI^*. The message also appears briefly after you begin driving if the system is switched off.

The message will also appear if the system is unavailable due to an error or if you switch the ESP off Link. In this state, the system no longer warns you about an impending collision.
